Frédéric Garrigues, 43, studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Lyon. He has devoted most of his professional career to visual design in one form or another. He was an art director, graphic artist, designer and props man before becoming a florist, and has worked in a wide variety of domains including women's fashion, commercial photography, interior design and finally, flower arranging.

After several years travelling and working with many great talents, he has settled in Paris , where he lives with his wife, a photographer, and their young daughter.
